March 25-29, 2019 visit to Mumbai (Republic of India)

From March 25 to March 29, 2019, a delegation of the Belarusian business community visited Mumbai (Republic of India). The visit was organized by the Gomel Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Belarusian delegation took part in the events of the International Exhibition “CAP India-2019”, the exhibition of chemical products “Asia Coat Ink Show 2019”.

This year the event brought together more than 800 Indian and more than 250 international companies producing agrochemical and other materials, as well as representatives of business organizations and associations, ministries of foreign countries from 22 countries, including Bangladesh, Brazil, Vietnam, Iran, Kenya, Cambodia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Laos, Latvia, Malaysia, Myanmar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Panama, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Lebanon, Tanzania , Australia, Guatemala, Chile, Ghana, Iraq, etc.

   

The exhibition was organized by CHEMEXCIL, the Ministry of Chemical and Petrochemical Industry of India, the Confederation of Indian Exporters and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of India. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Confederation of Indian Exporters, Mr. Shri Ganesh Kumar Gupta.

 

Within the framework of the exhibitions “CAP India-2019” and “Asia Coat Ink Show 2019”, b2b negotiations were held on the interests of the participants of the Belarusian delegation with Indian and foreign participants of the events.

During the visit, an additional business meeting with the leadership of the Indian Chamber of International Business was held, during which the Deputy General Director of the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gushchin B.G. made a presentation of the Gomel region and the activities of the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There were also other business meetings scheduled by the visit program, after which b2b negotiations were held with member enterprises of the Chamber.
